  • Purchased solar lights for the center; and
  • Provided funds for necessary items, such as wall adapters for the pre-K Academy Launchpads.

We made curtains!

Friends of the Huachuca City Library host the annual Polar Express event, providing gift bags, cookies, and cocoa. In the past, we also paid Santa’s fee. We also give out gift bags at the Holiday Gift Basket event.

Our members have stuffed backpacks with school supplies and have even served as volunteer hosts for the center. We also maintain the Cochise County “Free Book Box” located outside the gas station on the corner of Highways 82 and 90 in Whetstone. Someone is usually available to lend a hand whenever or wherever needed.
